Gasket replacement between the enginer and the pipes under intake manifold

    Are your brakes failing? From what I read on here, a lot of Prius cars don't need extensive brake work.
    Of course there are some exceptions.
    I don't think mine has been touched, I have 157 k on car.

    I replaced front brake pad and disk at about 135K. but my bad, I replace a cheap one. I got it from ebay for about $55 free shipping for both brake pad and disk rotor. I should have spend the money for the original Toyota disk rotor. Anyway, sometime you just cannot buy cheap part. Lesson well learned.

    This time I will replace the rear brake drum first.

    Sounds good hc, will be interesting to see on your old drums vs your new ones . I mean it would be worth doing comparison in the wear .

    Not that quick. As I am a lazy person. However, I did change the valve cover gasket 3 years ago at about 135K mile. The engine was very very clean. I can show picture IMG_0326.JPG
