After replacing the cabin air filter I heard a loud noise from the fan area in the car. I rechecked the installation which was ok. I then reached down into the fan assembly, and there was the problem, some leaves had fallen into the fan when I removed the old filter. Took out the leaves , and all is well.

I replaced the OEM filter with a Fram Fresh Breeze filter which interesting enough only had half as many folds. I figure a big company like Fram must know what they are doing?

I've used the Fram Fresh Breeze at least 3 times and have been pleased with them. My car has the solar roof option and is always parked outside so the replacement cycle is shortened.
I just recently replaced it with a normal Fram that I bought in a combo deal off Ebay with an engine air filter. Not surprised that I don't notice a difference from the Fresh Breeze/carbon odour control claim. Makes me think it is fine to buy them on sale, but not to worry about using the plain white if it is available with both good quality and reasonable costs.
