Along the same lines, does anyone know the scangauge codes to make a remote keyfob unlock press unlock ALL doors on first press, not just the drivers door?

To use Techstream, just go to Amazon and buy any Mini VCI cable. I bought this one.
Amazon.com : Fotga Newest V8.00.034 MINI VCI for TOYOTA TIS Techstream Diagnostic Cable & Software : Toyota Mongoose Cable : Car Electronics
The software that came with mine wasn't the newest out there so I just downloaded the most recent version. You can find it pretty easily. Then you'll need the Mini VCI drivers. The hardest part for me was locating an XP computer to run it on (software needs XP, but there's a work around for newer PCs). Then it's just plug-n-play.

Not sure about the v, but with a regular Prius there's a procedure outlined on page 48 of the Owners Manual. No need for ScanGauge, it's a regular, owner customizable setting:

That's for the door handle setting, they're asking about using the keyfob unlock button. I've done the door handle setting to unlock all doors and hatch, but it still requires two unlock button presses on the keyfob to unlock all doors/hatch.

Yep, was the FIRST thing on my list when I dropped mine off to Toyota for a once over after I bought it; former fleet vehicle so even as a 2013 it STILL had the backup beep (constant beep) when put in reverse. They did not charge but I did have A LOT of other routine maintenance done so that's probably why.

I have a 2012 Prius and this did not work for me. After entering the "AT SH 7c0" and getting the "OK", I entered the "21ac". But instead of the expected response, I got "NO DATA" instead. Any ideas?

I got the same thing several times. Keep tugging at it and you will succeed. Sorry can't tell you more since I did this 7 months ago.

The trick turned out to be that you have to enter "atsp6", send, and only then send the "AT SH 7c0" etc.

At 5000 mile service, tech "adjusted" both seat belt and backup buzzer. What a relief!

the beep saves lives, how long do you sit with the car in reverse anyway?

You really think the interior beep saves lives? How about just paying attention when you're in reverse. It's annoying and unnecessary. I'm so glad I got it turned off when I purchased the car.

Just wondering - does the beep get completely de-activated ? My Prius v 2015 is getting delivered early next week and I've asked the dealer to disable it. I've read different things where people say it's completely gone, some say it still beeps but only once. I'm just curious!

When I went for a test drive with it - that's the first thing I said to the sales rep "That's realllly annoying"!

You can't disable it completely, some dealers won't do the modification if you ask to "disable" the reverse beep. For this reason, you should ask to have the reverse beep setting changed to single beep, not "disabled". ;)

The only options are continuous beeping or single beep when shifted into reverse.

When you put it in reverse it's a single short beep.
