Transmission clicking noise while parking.

    I notice this lound noise while I change from P to R/N/D.
    Is this normal?

    The sound comes from engine for sure.

    i wonder if it could be the parking pawl releasing.

    Wow, that doesn't sound right at all. Don't know how and where you recorded this, but I've noticed a slight click when changing gears on my 2010 if it's parked next to a wall or another car. That way the sound bounces from that object nearby and I can hear it. But not those amounts, not even close. I would change the fluid first, check the drain plug for metallic "leftovers" and try again.

    Its fine, that sound is from the parking pawl actuator engaging and disengaging when you shift in and out of park.
