If you can, take photos. You may be the person who is going to show me how/where to tap positive of reverse light, no pressure! :D

It work! Tap to the red wire and would suggest soldering it. Then tap the other end to the reverse in. Thanks @Starz.
    My android nav is complete.

Working on the install right now. I got the 3 plug harness with the head unit. From what Sergiospl said, there is one plug on the Prius that does not get connected to the new radio. This seems odd, but I'll go with it. Wish me luck....

Okay. It's in and working. I lost one of the mounting bolts in the dark abyss of the interior. Ohh well. The 3 plug harness worked in my 2010 Prius ii without JBL. But now I have a dangling plug behind the dash. I wonder what that was used for??

So far, the audio sounds good. But I'm not an audio person. It seems fine for what I listen to. Funny thing however is that the balance control seems to be reversed. Front-Back is correct.

I set the GPS antenna on the metal shelf to the left rear of the unit. Connects to satellites fine. It did say lost signal once or twice...but then it was immediately back.

What have folks done with those USB/iPod cables? I connected them and strung them to the lower console shelf. There's 2 USBs and the 40 pin ipod connection. Can connect my iPhone to either? It says 3G/USB and Wifi/USB on those cables. If I can't use them, I might pull them out.

Lots of things to figure out and play with now. I want to get Torque running on it. I might change the GPS to Sygic's mapping software. I need to map the steering wheel controls to it. This is the fun part.

It's really nice that the Prius dash is easy to pull apart. Made the install go much easier...

Bought this from ebay. To make the USB in the center console useable. You can plug a usb camera. Or a flash drive i guess for more storage.

Thanks to Ncases for suggesting WAZE App GPS. I find that it is more accurate, more stable and updated than IGO Primo.
Great price! I would post it in "Private Sales" section. This head unit is way better than even the Prius upgrade 7" Nav screen stock.

If the screen is too bright for you guys at night, the screen filter app works great.

I do not worry about my Prius II removed OEM unit. I packed it in the same box my head unit came in. I saw my oem on ebay for $47.

I paid over $400.00 with DVR camera. I would jump on the $325 shipped from a fellow PC member. The 8" Hi Res screen is very pleasant to look at, google chrome on, is a Carputer with Android Auto.

See how lame the 7" upgrade looks compared to Ncases photo!

That is beautiful! I'll look at that waze app as well. So many things...so little time... Can I just live in my Prius now?

What wires did you tap into to power the camera? Like the tail light for power? Did you also have to send a wire to the receiver for it to know your in reverse?

I tapped into the reverse taillight bulb harness for power. Yes, you have to send a wire to the receiver also. So you will tap the same reverse bulb harness 2 times, one for powering the camera, and one for initializing when put in reverse.

So, you tapped this red wire for positive?
