The gas gauge on my 2008 does not seem accurate. I had three bars left the other day and when I filled up it took 6.5 gallons. Normally with three bars it only takes 5.5 gallons. Also, it stays on "full" (all bars) a long time. Any ideas? Thanks.

Sounds like the bladder in your tank just popped up to full volume. It happens to me in hot weather and I can go over 100 miles before the first pip falls off the gas gauge. In winter, the first pip falls off at around 20 miles.

Sounds normal. The fuel gauge in the 2nd-gen is neither accurate nor consistent. The fuel bladder volume also varies (mostly with temperature).

In North America, the Gen 2 had a flexible bladder that was temperature sensitive.
In the summer in the afternoon, I was able to get over 10 gallons in my Gen 2, and it went about 160 miles before losing a pip.
In the winter (and Mississippi has mild winters) as little as 8.5 gallons, and 40 miles to lose a pip.

how long have you owned it? if it's new behavior, you might need to have it reset.
