35% tint all around, please post pics

    I'm trying to figure out what % tint would look the best on Blizzard Pearl w/black interior. Does the small trunk window normally get tinted even though it's slightly tinted from the factory already?

    Check with your state about window tint and go from there.

    The small trunk window is tinted but can be retinted.

    your laws are only a little more strict than IL. But nonetheless, I should have done 20% all around since I see it more and more I notice on my daily hr commute. I stayed in the legal parameters of my state. 32 sides (factory windows DO have a tint on them), 18 rear (to match bottom tint). The only thing that's not noticeable is my front windshield strip, which is greater than the legal 6" to compensate for the factory dot matrix. I chose the highest Ceramic 3M film w/lifetime warranty and took my time to look around. kept finding $340-300, then finally found a guy that did it for $160.

    Odd number but mines at 32% all windows, including 6 inch strip on front window.

    I got 20% in the rear—including the little window on the hatch. 35% in the front. I roll my front windows down when I see cops just in case.

    The $160 shop uses Ceramic 3M film? Anything specific I should ask for or just Ceramic 3M film? Is he booked out for a while in the summer? Sweet looking ride!

    I called this place and they told me the tint is made by Solar Free?

    thanks! They might have changed the brand, but they never sacrifice quality. as far as I know, its a 16+yr experienced shop and are always booked (which is a good sign). This is their breakdown of pricing:

    I'm not sure if I'll go with the ceramic only because it's meant for much warmer climates. Why did you end up getting those? Which would you recommend for a Blizzard Pearl exterior and black interior?

    They told me the brand name is Sunblade and its $200 which is 2mm thick.

    Almost looks as dark as mine with the 5% Limo tint all around :)

    You didn't get the sunstrip on the windshield like me? I had them stop at the dot matrix behind the rear view mirror, helps a lot with sun glare on the highway...

    You should consider the HID kit. It looks great at night now that I installed mine the other day. I may leave the parking light as is though since it is unshielded I don't want the lamp housing to fog up over time.

    Does the tint help with the AC in the car mine gets cold but the fan never seems to lower just stays on hi the hole time. I like the 18% I had limo on my 740 turbo and my 900 SPG turbo looked awsome on both.
