    actually it was a parking deck at a hotel right by the apartment... made it lotttt better . would hate to do this in 98 degree weather IN the sun!

    Are there any performance bumps with the intake on a Prius, or is it mostly for cosmetics?

    My Prius doesn't sound like it's struggling when I accelerate hard, rather, there's a nice deep throaty hum. I've also notice a 1-2 increase in my MPG so far.

    Supposedly the Prius gains +10 HP and + 17 ft/lbs of torque.

    Geeze, just went to the dealership for an oil change/tire rotation with an appointment. They told me 2.5 hrs to 3 hrs... Uhm sorry, I don't have that amount of time today. What a pain.

    Hell, I could go to the Valvoline and the tire place down the street and have both done in less than an hour total. Though I'm not sure I trust the quick change oil places well enough.

    man i shouldn't have bought the factory filter. i thought, intake on a prius? nawww but I guess i was wrong! maybe exhaust also to reduce back pressure also? i don't want loud though

    I thought the same way till I got it and wished I had gotten it sooner. I just hated hearing how the car sound when accelerating.

    No exhaust plan.
