I have a 2012 PIP with OEM streamline 15" rims, especially designed for the PIP. I average 70 mpg. Sometimes I get as much as 80/85 mpg on a roundtrip. I took a look at the Costco Velox rims at your suggestion. Didn't see any for $399. The least expensive I saw were $560 and those were for 15s, 17s started at $640. They are relatively heavy, they are not streamlined, and the 17" tires will cost more than the 15s. This will probably cost you a 10% hit on your mpg's. That's fine if that's the look you are after and willing to pay the penalty. It all depends on your priorities.
