Yesterday I sold my Tacoma truck, and I posted how I was sad and bummed that my truck/ transformer robot was out of my life. The dealer dropped the Prius off at work and did the trade right there (who does that?!!)

Drove my Prius (Magnetic grey, will post pictures) series 8 home and instantly forgot about the truck. Hovering around 45 mpg, and has all the bells and whistles of a Land Rover sport.

It's the future baby. Standard combustion engines are going to be only for large vehicles and the military, guaranteed.

AWWEEE. I know the feeling, and it will be renewed each time you fill up your tank. I love Tacoma's though! I am trying to sell my current truck and then find a decent used 2001-2004 4x4- they are hard to come by.

I'm in Long Beach, but had to get it at El Cajon in San Diego. I was told that if you go outside of LA you won't get that 5k markup bullsh*t that dealers here are angling for. I paid sticker, no markup. 29k (w/o taxes).

Yeah I had a friend go to Vegas and they practically *gave* him the car. Drove it home to LA from there.

Not all places in LA will markup the Prius. A LOT of them do, but places like Longo Toyota in El Monte, where I got mine, sell Priuses at MSRP, not a cent more. :) I paid the same price as you.

Congratulations, and I too would like to see some photos of the much-talked-about Magnetic Gray. If I don't happen to see you cruising around town first, of course. (I'm in nearby Los Al).
