    two months is just scare-mongering. it took me about 4 weeks total to get both registration (~2 weeks) and stickers.

    Well, I got plates on 8/11, mailed REG1000 to DMV with check on 8/12.

    Check hasn't been cashed. Grr. And still no logical answer how PiP dealers get green stickers and Tesla can't get white stickers after a VIN is assigned.

    Hill do you know why though RXLaw cannot buy a Tesla with white stickers already, whereas Toyota is putting green stickers on PiPs? That was the orig question.

    So exciting I saw a Volt with a lead foot yesterday, VA tags but I immediately noticed the CA green HOV stickers. Poor guy stuck on non-HOV in Virginia. Our HOV priviledges grandfathered to prior years owners.

    The DMV will permit us, as dealers, to request decals now. Based on their vin. Once the car changes hands into a consumer's hands, the process changes to YOU needing a license plate #. That takes time. And, re-assigning a vanity plate won't work quickly either... because the car and vin / plate # have to match in DMVs system... so no matter what ya do, it's a 4-6 week minimal process, often 8 weeks.

    Maybe this is why Tesla is unable to get white stickers beforehand.. they are not a "car dealer"?

    Am I seeing this right that these are being sold for $100 above MSRP? Online build configurator shows me a price of 30,945 for this configuration.

    MSRP ranges from 31040 to 31500 (depending on color and options) and quite a few have leather we added...

    Was this only for Green HOV stickers, or were you able to pre-order the White ones back when you had the RAV4-EV as well?
