Getting excited. My package #7 Magnetic Grey is due either tomorrow or Saturday. Dealer says is enroute from LA to Phoenix.

I have a question for anyone using the vehicles car phone with Verizon service.

Which phones has anyone found to work well, or definately found not to work with the car?

    Any input would be appreciated.

As far as being able to 'pair' a phone and have a conversation, all of VZW's phones will work. They will not be able to transfer their phone books to the car.

My Verizon LX 8100 works great. Unfortunately, I can't get the phone book to transfer like many others on the forum.

I use Verizon with the Motorola e815. Works great with the car. I just entered the phone book manually (gave me more time to play with the car).

How's Verizon's RAZR (c3 I think?) with the Bluetooth and the 2006 car (plus the phone itself). I want to upgrade to this phone but want to see how it's been working for you guys that have them.

Early this year I bought a Sony Ericsson K750i. It works well with my 2005 Prius and I had no difficulty in transferring the whole address book into the Prius, which it did in a few seconds.

When I switch on the Prius parked on my drive it tells me the bluetooth connection has been completed even though I've left the phone in the house! Of course I get a different message if I drive off without the phone.

When I bought this phone I was told the battery would quickly discharge if I left bluetooth switched on but I find the discharge takes about a week with bluetooth switched on 24 hours a day, if the phone is not used much.

Check Audio forum. There is much more information regarding the Razr there. My wife has one and the bluetooth works fine. The phone itself is great. It has very short battery life though.
