I have a 2005 Toyota Prius and the AC seems to work when the car is not warmed up. After about 5 to 10 minutes of driving the vehicle it does not seem to want to blow cold air. Obviously it works better in the morning then the afternoon but the AC seems to work intermittently.

Does any body have an idea if this may be and electrical problem? Or should I bring it to the dealer and have them diagnose the problem for $100?

Engine coolant is full, Inverter coolant is a little low.

Your AC system might contain a small amount of moisture which is causing the expansion valve to ice up after the system has run for a while. Then after the system stops operating and the valve frees up, the system can work again for a short while.
