lock and unlock doors

    i have prius 2009 with black logo remote , before one week the remote control had not been able to unlock and lock doors suddenly but i can operate the car by same FOB(remote) after that i replaced the fob battery but fob could not able to unlock and lock the doors and i am now use the mechanical key to open the door , and i do not have else this fob .
    please, there is here anyone can help me to know the problem and how to solve it?

    welcome! check your 12 volt status as well. same with passenger door? do the inside door lock switches work?

    hi mr bisco 12 volt without load (11.8 v) and same with passenger door.there is lock switches work to unlock all doors inside

    that's a weak battery, might be the problem. hard to say until you change it. a new battery should be 13 volts, out of the box, or after a trickle charge and removal of surface charge.

    you might try charger yours first, and see if it holds.

    thanks Mr bisco
    but the lights for internal room of car and external lights is operating while the car is switch off
    i was sharing between my 12v battery with another battery new and i check to unlock door but not working
