Anyone see Stephen Colbert on C-Span? He was the headliner at the Whitehouse Correspondents Dinner and he was FANTASTIC!

He has huge balls to say all of that with Bush about 4 feet away! It was awesome and he is now my hero! Ben a huge fan of The Daily Show and The Colbert Report, but I was even suprised he did that.

Didn't it seem that no one in the room 'got it'? There were WAY more laughs when Bush and the impersonator were on the stage. I loved the shots over to Bush when Colbert was really ripping on him. Bush did not look happy at all!

(I think I like the Colbert Report better than the Daily Show now.)

Colbert report is a must see every night. Funny and he uses his humor to make fun of liberals too. We all need to laugh at ourselves more.

Gutsy. He's astute enough to have known what the reaction would be. Balls-on.

I liked the interplay between the two after he left the podium...a quick handshake, Bush said something and then Colbert is gone--didn't say anything! He must hold Bush in high regard. :D

I think a lot of the people got it, but there were a lot of "dead silence" pauses when he would hit a little too close to the bone.

Good for you Stephen! Grippy to the MAX! :D
