OK- my old handheld died. I'm not reliant on it, but it would be a nice toy to have one with wireless web....AND I'n just getting hooked and creating music files through itunes- very nice interface.

so an ipod would be nice too..... so now we are talking about 2 devices.
Does anyone know of a handheld with wireless that will play MP3 in the itunes format??????????????? or of a hendheld that you can install itunes on ?
Otherwise, any IPOD opinions ? was looking at the 1G nano..... mostly for cost, have been spending on goodies for the prius!-

Since there are so many of you technophiles out there I though I would ask....
    Thanks!

I have a couple of handhelds that play MP3s, but their interface sucks. The iPod is the way to go, as far as I am concerned. I have a 40 gig one and use it a lot. Depending on your usage, bigger is better, since you WILL fill it up: what with new music, podcasts, etc..

In fact, my biggest Prius gripe, after the idiotic lock of navigation, phone and radio message functions, is the lack of an iPod dock. Instead I am stuck with a 6-disc changer, which is useless to me.

There is a group buy for an iPod integration sytem right now. I don't own an iPod yet, but plan to get one after getting one of these.

An iPod is a must for me. I just can't stand fumbling with CDs and don't want to take them out of my house anyway. Just make sure to always keep your iPod with you. I just got mine stolen (along with my $5 glasses) 2 days ago at the car wash. It had to be the guy who drove it in because I always watch the guy who drys. Didn't notice it was gone for a few hours. But that was $300 down the drain and of course I had to imediatly order a new one. This time (for the same price) I will get 10GB more and video.
