I do have the autofolding 3-in-1 mirrors and steering wheel reserved unfortunately, but the woman isn't gonna let me spend anymore to get the other things he has probably, lol...

I just tried to my hand at the xenonsupply kit before the rain started - no chance.
I noticed the small covering over the ground was cracked on one of the bulbs so I thought that could maybe be a part of the problem?
So I tried with the other bulb as well with the same results.

No idea what I did wrong.. I'll have to hope for better weather and luck tomorrow.

 

I have the xenon hid kit, but didn't had any problems. It was just a plug and play.

 

I think I may have had the bulb to the OEM connector flipped the wrong way. It didn't seem like it fit in the other way, so I just assumed it had to be right... but the 2013 video from the XS site mentions that the connection to the oem is polarity specific - so that certainly could be the problem.

I'll have to try again in the morning - I was hardly able to get the halogen back in before the rain picked up.

 

If you have any problems just email customer support and they will send you a replacement. I had a ballast problem few months ago and they replaced it

Anyone else experience this with 6k HID in projection? Hope it's not a problem with them coppers.

@Starbrand @ncases opinons? You know them IL cops. Hopefully it's not as noticeable at night or when warmed up.

It's totally possible in just paranoid.

Looking at it again in person I think it's just the photo. IRL it's not as bad.
Waiting for dark to be sure but i think it should be fine.

 

Isn't 5k basically neutral white, anything moving higher on the scale progressively bluer and moving lower on the scale progressively yellower?

 

Sounds likely. I just ordered what was listed as the most popular option.

 

Factory is typically 4300k
Bright white 5000k
Blue tint 6000k
Blue 8000k
Blue/purplish 10000k
Yellow is 3000k

 

I got pulled over 2 weeks ago in Aurora, IL for going 40 in a 35. But you know... I paid the ticket because I'm just surprised I got nothing for the plasti-dipped taillights, green parking lights, green side marker lights, 18%tint in rear windows, hids, etc... there's so much on my ride they could've got me with, but didn't. First time getting pulled over in the Prius and in general.

 

Some pretty serious ground shadow going on.
I tried readjusting the bulb in the housing and it didn't seem to do anything. Is it possible the bulb or the housing is dirty?
