    Hello Everyone,

Has anyone tried the LIghtWerkz Retro-Quik: Toyota Prius (10+) kit? Looks pretty cool but I've personally not heard of these guys before and/or the effort to do something like this. Seems straight forward but we all know how that can go sometimes :).

    Thank you

    Seems expensive.

Based on cutoff that my prius has (with $45 hid kit installed), I don't know that I'd say projectors are needed for 3rd gen Prius.

May just be personal preference, but I don't like companies misspelling words or using a 'z' instead of an 's' in their name (seems pretty juvenile).

If you end up going with it, let us know how it turns out!

OP...The kit is not actually made by LightWerkz. The kit is from The Retrofit Source Inc

DFW, do you by chance have a photo of your beam pattern against a wall with the stock projectors and hid kit? I've been considering it, but the damn squirrel finders have me holding back as I don't want any uncomfortable glare for oncoming traffic. I did however replace the stock long life bulbs with some SYLVANIA H11 SilverStar Ultra High Performance bulbs. They are actually pretty good and exceeded my expectations. They are indeed whiter and a tad brighter.

I have a custom retrofit from lightwerkz in my STI. They started with subarus and are considered gold standard in that world. My Tacoma has a custom retrofit from a guy who only does Tacomas. Please for the love of all of your fellow drivers don't put HIDs in none HID housings.

I just visited Lightwerkz for a clear lens upgrade and couldn't be happier! I've been running the Morimoto Elite 5500k plug n play kit from theretrofitsource.com, but wanted to dial it in and this lens upgrade did the trick!. The folks at Lightwerkz seemed very impressed with the lumen gains as they almost doubled with just the swap of the lens!
