I had the red triangle pop up on my Prius. I codes I got P0A93 and P1121 I needed a new control valve and inverter water pump. I installed both the valve and the inverter pump filled it with new coolant and bled both systems.
I went into maintenance mode so I could run the motor and bleed out all the water. My question is the red triangle is still on in my car when I start it up..
Is there some way to clear the red triangle or does it just go away on its own? Not sure what to do.

How did you bleed the system? You are suppose to bleed out the "air" in the system, not the "water".

If there are no problems, the red triangle should not be present. You can reset the car by disconnecting the 12v negative for a few seconds. Then reconnect and start the car. If the red triangle appears again, then you would need to read the codes and see why it's still on.

I did bleed the air out of the inverter system and the engine coolant system. I guess there are two of them. I watched about 10 different YouTube videos haha and use the bleeder valve and such I think I got all the air out

If you didn't touch the engine coolant system, there would be no need to bleed it. They are 2 separate systems

I replaced both the inverter water pump and the control valve they both were bad. I didn't have any clamps to clamp the hose so I went ahead and drain the coolant and put new coolant in.

oh I see what you did. Yes then you would've need to bleed both sides. Did you drain and change the coolant?

I've heard the hardest part to what you're doing.....is bleeding all the air out. You can try turning on the heat to max while you're bleeding, that always helps.

Yeah it was a pain. I ended up going into maintenance mode and running the motor with the heater on and using the bleeder valve on the right side and it went pretty smooth. Just took a little while. Just trying to get the darn red triangle off I'm going to go out right now and unhook the battery for just a couple seconds. Thanks man

You might have to repeat the process of bleeding the air, sometimes it takes multiple times. Dealers often run into this problem.

I thought I'd replied back and tell you what I did to solve my problem. I tried the battery trick and it didn't remove the triangle. So I hooked my obd2 backup and cleared the two codes and everything straightened up after that. I started it back up the red triangle is gone and my wife is driving it right now I will check the level of the coolant again when she gets back
