I finally ordered a front end mask from Metropn. It took me approx. 30min to install. Now I can hide the small pits and dents that are already present on my front end and prevent any further damage as I do a lot of hghway driving.

Mental note: install front end mask shortly after purchase of next Prius

Special thanks to the quick next-day delivery service from UPS.

I had a bra on my Prius last summer and I had no gap at the top of the lower radiator opening.

Did you have an issue attaching the bottom?

    that looks great!

Im guessing the gap is caused by the new style prius with the chrome grill insert?

what if you have the front tag installed does that peice come off or do you have to order the bra w/tag cutout?

Although it fits the '05, that's an '04 bra. The way you can tell is that on the '04, the black vinyl angles upward from the wheel wells and fastens halfway up the headlights. But they had a little trouble with that "wedge" eventually pulling out from where it's wedged between the headlight and the body. So on the the '05 version, the vinyl comes straight out from the wheel wells to the BOTTOM of the headlights.

It also looks as if the vinyl hasn't been stretched enough to come all the way down the bumper. That hook under the middle of the license plate area isn't strong enough (on its elastic connecting strap) to PULL the vinyl down to the bumper bottom. Possibly Indy Doug has fastened the UPPER hooks too far/high into the grille so the vinyl WON'T stretch to the bottom. But it's fixable.

I have an '04 bra on my '04 and an '05 bra on my '06. So I've noticed these small differences.

And you're right, Doug: the bra (or clear bra) should be installed THE DAY the car is received.
Because I was too stupid (anxious), I didn't even TAKE my bra (which I had bought in advance) on the train when I rode 200 miles to pick up my car, and put it on AT the dealer. Result: 3 stone chips on my hood on the way driving it home! :(

You should cut out a place for the "Toyota" emblem. Just a thought. Not sure if you can do that. :X
