Alternative Fuel Vehicle Expo - Route 66 Raceway - Saturday, May 13, 2006

    [attachmentid=3235]There will be an Alternative Fuel Vehicle Exposition at the Route 66 Raceway on Saturday, May 13, 2006. Gates open at 11 am but hybrids (and other AFV) get in free and can come early at 8 am.

    According to the Joliet High Schools website there will be;

    GM - E85 vehicles and Silverado hybrid truck.

    Toyota - Prius and Highlander Hybrid

    Honda - Insight and Civic Hybrid

    Ford - Escape Hybrid

    As well as assorted electric and diesel/bio-diesel and other alternative fuel vehicles.

    And don't forget if you arrive early you can drag race your Prius down the 1/4 mile drag strip!

    Now Wayne does this sound like a fun place to have a get together. I am looking forward to it. maybe I'll unleach the beast in the American eagle out on the 1/4 mile track LOLL.
