I asked a while ago, but I think it was when you were in the wilderness looking at 2016's so it probably got lost. Is there a way to find past podcasts?
Oh yes there is! Head over to What Drives Us and you will find all the recent podcasts on the front page. On the left is an "Archives" menu.
Incorrect upload of #167 Epsiode 167 is actually episode 166. This is true on the What Drives Us page(Play in New Window) and the RSS feed. Just listen to Russell say "This is episode 166, Dec. 9, 2015" at 00:00:41.
Either it was corrected or I'm a bit confused. I clicked Danny's link above and then independently went to what drives.us and each time got episode 167 with my attempting to sing "The Twelve Days of Christmas" at the start.
Tony, Still the same for me. If I "Play in a new window" or "Download" 167 from the What Drives Us page, I get 166. The file size is shown as exactly the same for both 166 and 167(24.3 MB), and the times are the same(1:11:10). The download file has the correct name, using 167. If I use my podcatcher and download from the RSS feed, I still get 166. Something is weird, but if its working for everybody else, then it must be a problem on my end. Thanks for taking a look. I really appreciate all the work you and the other folks do in making the podcast. It is one of my favorites. Tedd
Tony, Just to be clear, I get the apparently correct file when I Download from the WhatDrivesUs page or the RSS feed: "whatdrivesus167.mp3", but it is the identical size and play time as the previous "whatdrivesus166.mp3" file. Thanks, Tedd
I just talked with Russell. I missed the point that I was focussed on the video version while you were talking about the audio version. He's going to fix it. Thanks for pointing it out.
That makes sense, thanks a bunch. I am really looking forward to listening to 167, you have some really interesting topics. Hope you are enjoying another beautiful Chicago winters day. It doesn't get much better than this Another Chicagoland native, Tedd
