    My EV mode cuts out at 100 kph, which is a bit inconvenient when the speed limit is 110.

    The European version of the PiP has a City mode where the US model has a PWR mode. City mode significantly raises the threshold of how hard you have to push the pedal before the ICE kicks in. This is to comply with zero-emission zones in some European cities.

    I much prefer using the PWR button for this feature instead. PWR is a worthless "feature". Even more, I would like the button to be repurposed to set varying amounts of regen when the throttle is released. There needs to be a mode where releasing the throttle allows the car to coast.

    Varying levels of regen are controlled by the brake-pedal.

    Regen is automatic when lifting from the throttle. Varying the regen is accomplished by varying the throttle, which is counter-intuitive and tricky.

    I do not really want a big HV battery in a PiP2. Just a bit more for more rebate and get around town.

    Technically 110km/h, not quite 70mph. (68.75mph). But yes. In all honesty, drag will be the biggest factor in slowing you down when you're gliding at those speeds.

    The news articles from the media that was at the launch event. Toyota literature only has a graph that says "higher EV top speed" but doesn't give a value.
