    Installed the Cusco rear brace today. The hardest part is figuring out the fasteners that hold the aerodynamic plastic to the underside. Easy one person job with the rear wheels on ramps. One small cut in the plastic cover to make room for the bar.
    Every frame stiffeners adds to handling and road vibration transferred to the cabin.
    Now have TRD springs and rsb, 17" Prius plus wheels, Cusco strut bar, front-mid and rear braces. Took my friend, who owns two stock prii, for a ride. He could not believe he was in a Prius. He was amazed at the cornering and how it effortlessly tracked on the 180 degree Onramp. However... He did say it road very rough and he could feel every bump in the road. image.jpeg image.jpeg

    Great idea. I did something similar or my 2006 XB, but you must be careful as your front end will bend and flex as you drive and scratch the heck out of the front end area. I tried putting foam backing (foam tape) but it would scratch and wear off. I will most likely do your idea, extend it out just a bit and also support the bottom with one bracket.

    Test fit my new wheels. They are Enkei PF01 17x7.5 45mm offset. Trying to decide on chrome or black lug nuts. Had some old Gorilla's from my Integra to test with some Sharpie magic. What do you think?
