Would snow tires get me up my driveway?

    You're absolutely right. There are advantages to having a second set of wheels. That's the route I went on my last car. But, in the interest of saving money, this is the route I'm choosing to be best for me for now.

    We have a second set of wheels with Nokian Hakkas... While the PIP is no 4 wheeler, at least we can stop while others cannot. We need to use icey cobblestone hills in Pittsburgh to leave our home, so there is really no other option than great snow/ ice tires. The Hakkas have low rolling resistance... There's a good YouTube video showing the long roll with a Prius.
