So I'm looking for a used Mini-Van and have sorta settled on a Kia Sedona but don't know too much about their reliability record. Does anybody have any experience or know how good they are? I'm used to GM mini-Vans (Venture and Uplander). Thanks for any imput.

I assume you are looking at it because the price is much cheaper than Sienna/Odyssey? I assume they are an okay van but reviews from magazines are not kind. Reliability seems okay but I would for sure I would want a maintenance history if you are looking at used one. Also keep in mind the 10y/100K warranty is only for the original owner, a second owner would only have the warranty up to 5yr/50K

Because of my family size, we have owned a few vans over the years. 00 Chevy Venture (driven 80,000 miles. Sold at 165,000 miles), 06 Ford E350 (Driven 35,000 miles, sold at 55,000 miles), 00 Toyota Sienna (driven 35,000 miles, sold at 165,000 miles) , and 06 Nissan Quest (driven 35,000 miles, sold at 135,000 miles). Currently our family vehicle is a 02 Toyota Sequoia. BTW, the Sequoia is the best of the bunch. "It doesn't suck the cool out of you." I have done a lot of research on mini vans, besides the ones I have owned. My conclusion, is the Toyota Sienna is by far the most dependable. Whatever you decide to buy, stay completely away from the 03-09 Nissan Quest. They break down and are expensive to fix.
    Hope this helps.

Without going into a lot of detail, we are looking at the Sedona because of the "old style" tilt steering arrangement and seat height.

Sedona is an excellent van. We are on our third one.
The warranty is great and the KIA company backs up what they sell.
I believe the warranty goes to 5 yrs and 60,000 miles when bought used.
    Good luck.
