My dealer is staying that they have specific 2016s with VINs arriving Jan 25 at the dealership in NC. It's only a few, but I hope more are on the way soon.

Yes, and it seems that they are only getting a few. It might be a while before you can get the package/color that you want. I'm chomping at the bit, just out of exuberance, but if we wait a little bit, maybe we will have more options.

Just spoke with our local dealer here on the "world famous" Airport Motor Mile in East TN. They have some arriving Jan. 25th. Didn't ask about which models, trim etc.

I test drove a 2016-4 touring today in Wilmington, NC. I also put $5K down on a TWO eco for delivery Feb 1. :)

They will be flooded with them soon.

Thanks, still there. Went and had a thorough look (no drive). Very impressive interior especially--white accents not at all as offensive as in pics. Leaning towards buying now.

Called the same place on Tuesday of this week because they have one listed on their website. They were eager to get my # and call me when it is actually on the ground. Purchased mine there. Prefer the service dept in Knoxville though. Maintenance Due message came on today so maybe, just maybe I'll get to poke around in one next week.

Test drove a 4 Touring, lived it but couldn't justify 2k for power seats. Took delivery of a 3T Sunday night. It was jittery on the freeway so I took it back Monday morning. Traded up to a 4T for $1900 additional. Dealer has unpublished 3 day satisfaction policy. The radar speed control is freaky at first. Will actually follow a car to a full stop and not require using the brake while waiting for the light to change. A tap on the accelerator starts the cruise control following again from 1mph.

guammax, can you expand on the "jittery" of the 3T? I was under the impression that the 3T and 4T have the same suspension, wheels, and tires.

They have arrived at Rick McGills on the motor mile. The one they got is black. No other details. I plan to take a look in the next few days.

I was told mine would arrive Feb 1. I am in Wilmington Nc. It arrived yesterday and I took delivery today. Loving it, although it is too rainy to play around...

They have arrived in Buffalo NY. The sales manager gave me a call this morning so I had to run down and see. The seats are more comfortable. This is a model 3.

Any 4s? Don't seem to have any in NYC/Westchester area (especially with ATP+PCP)

Posting from the waiting room at Toyota Knoxville. This could be a very expensive tire rotation :)

    Interesting observations...
--The C pilar is just a plastic panel so it appears it could be removed & recolored.
--The cargo cover on this one is not a retractable shade. It folds up to store in a tiny bag.
--I wonder why this tag about refueling is necessary?
--Holy crap the headlight literally goes back the full length of the fender.
--Rear seat room looks to be smaller. Not so good with 2 growing boys.

Yes I was surprised to see no retractable cargo cover in the back, but instead a bag containing a manual attaching cargo cloth. I have not taken it out of the bag to look at this further, but it seems like a cost cutting feature.
