Well I put the block heater in the wifeys Prius but I really don't like where the plug comes out I was thinking of running up to the windshield and have it sit in the tray next to the driver side wiper. Has anyone else tried this or did you find a better place.
So my main reason is my wife is not going to tuck the cord in under the hood when she unplug it and I don't want this thing to bounce around and mess up the paint.
    No buddy.
More questions do you plug your block heater in over night or do you have it on a timer.
How long does it take to warm the car up if you plug it in.

i have read a few hours, and that may depend on ambient temp. definitely a timer, and stet with an hour before leaving, and ad 15 minutes at a time until you reach your happy place.
