Which headlights do I have on my Prius v (lowercase v)

My wife trashed the front bumper cover on her 2012 Prius v (lowercase v for the Prius v wagon)

Frankly, I don't KNOW which headlamps (Halogen or LED) she has, so don't know which bumper cover to order.

Is there an easy way to visually distinguish between the two?

Also, the little pop-out squares in the bumper cover have only an empty socket behind them, so I assume she does not have the "pre-collision system", is that correct?

Sorry I haven't been around for awhile, but still driving and loving the near maintenance-free status of my Gen 2 as well as her v (lowercase v for the Prius v wagon)

Any assistance greatly appreciated, my Dealer is less than useful.

If it's anything lower than a five, then they are halogens, not LED.

A picture of the headlights will definitely clear it up.

I believe it's a level 3 trim, will run out and grab a picture next break, thank you!

No need, if it's a level 3 trim, then it's got halogens.

The pop out square is for a TOW HOOK

    Thanks, Dion.

    I think it's a three. I don't really know, though.

Anyhow, here's the pic. Dealer finally came back and said it's Halogen, but I trust them as far as I could throw them.

Unfortunately, that impact damage looks like it may have further damage underneath the bumper cover. It looks like the edge of the aluminum bumper was impacted as well, it cut through the bumper cover.

If it was my car, I'd go through insurance. Even if you have a $500 deductible, the repair would be much more to repair.

Well -- She just ran into the carport. I have my doubts it'll even be covered.
I'm pretty handy, can probably do it over a weekend.

The aluminum beam DID cut through the cover, but looks to be undamaged.

I'll get a couple quotes, won't make a claim unless it's going to be well over $1000.

$260 for the part, plus having it painted, is already adding up fast, though!

It would be covered under standard collision policy. Are you going to reuse the turn signal/DRL unit? The lens looks scraped up, ditto with the headlight lens. Don't forget to inspect the clips and panels underneath, probably some torn covers and clips there as well.

Is the front passenger side fender damaged at all? Looks like it is bent, or is that reflection?

Worth a look, xliderider. I guess I'll let the dealer have a look if there IS significant damage in addition to the cover I may make a claim.

As always, thanks to one and all for your assistance!

That's a "crumple zone". You don't repair anything, it all gets replaced.

Yeah, looking around there is some more damage.

Since the bumper cover and paint alone would eat up the $500 deductible,
I'll file a claim with USAA (hope they don't raise my rates!).

I STILL don't understand how she managed to drive right. into. the. freaking. carport.

    Sheesh. Felt like an earthquake!

Edit: Welp, from The Department of "That's What the Insurance is For", the dealership quote all in is $2314. Yep, we'll claim that.

Bottom line is pay attention all the way until you're in your house with your feet up. Probably just as well that we each got a reminder with nothing really hurt but our pride.
