The package 4 you have arriving is my exact configuration. I live in Nashville and won't be purchasing until the lease on my 2014 550i is up mid-summer. Do you feel that the package 4 combo you mentioned above is a popular one that Toyota will readily produce?

It normally is MSRP or MSRP+ but with fuel prices being as low as $1.85 a gallon here in the Nashville area, supply and demand always dictates the hybrid market. If fuel was $4.00 a gallon then these new model vehicles would be going for a premium like they did in 2010!

It's the 2nd biggest scam next to title insurance on a piece of property. :)

Sad to hear about Toyota getting strict about advertising prices. I would have likely investigated more into a Volt when I bought my Prius Plug-in had it not been for stumbling across Dianne's pricing threads.

Similarly, as a result of Toyota preventing dealerships from selling extended warranties online, I did not purchase an extended warranty for my second Toyota (my PiP). I had bought one online for my C super easily, only to find out when I was ready to buy it for my PiP that Toyota had banned the practice.

For anyone reading this post and thinking about getting a Prius, contact Dianne! I promise it will be worth your time.

They still show this on Toyota website :

    15 in. 10-Spoke Alloy Wheels

on the brochure, near the bottom - under Accessories :

15-in. “Hyper Black” 10-spoke alloy wheels

The accessory ones are much fancier than the "standard" ones, which look like the GIII wheels but in natural aluminum, not black.
If you search around on this forum you can find a picture of the accessory ones.

plus they have full warranty and are well done.

As to console applique, it can be purchased and applied at any time... Personally i would try white for a while and if i dont like it after a month, get black cover applique.

I just bought a 2016 Prius Three, not III because only 2010 used uppercase roman numerals for model designation, w/ tech package last Saturday. 1k below invoice. MSRP 29363 OTD Price 264XX (don't remember exact numbers) 1.9 apr= 1400 in interest on top of OTD price. Overall, getting it below invoice is possible. You just have to find a dealership willing wanting to move a vehicle. I think I probably could have gotten them a little lower, but the wife was tired. Overall, the whole deal took 30 min. Just call the dealerships ahead and get them to approve the deal prior to your arrival. Had to go through 5 dealerships until one bit. It might help to wait until the end of a month so the dealership/salesman are eager to pump their numbers with an additional sale even if it is a "loser".

Toyota sales are down for the month of January 2016, so all dealers should be wanting to move units.
