We had a spill in the cargo area and it was a PITA to clean up. So, I'm looking for a cargo liner with the raised edges to avoid having to do this again. I've narrowed down to Weathertech and Husky. From the respective mfr website pictures, the Weathertechs appear to conform to the shape of the entire cargo area while the Husky is more rectangular. Is that a generic pic or is this what you get? Secondly, for those of you with either of these liners, how hard is it to access the hidden storage area under the mat? Neither of these products appears to have a hinge or anything to simplify access to that area - and we use it a lot.

I have a Husky cargo liner, it has about a 2" lip all the way around. I like it is hard to get to the under floor storage compartment though. If you access the storage area often look in to the OEM Toyota two piece all weather cargo mat. I had originally ordered the WeatherTech cargo liner. I cancelled the order prior to ordering my Huskies, but I was still shipped and billed for the WT liner that should have been canceled. I received the WT cargo liner and while awaiting the return shipping label I installed and and took some pics and posted them here somewhere. I have posted pictures of both cargo liners posted, I think in they are in one of the various floor mat threads. The WT liner was okay but it had a really low lip on the back edge closest to the hatch. Hope that helps.

I have a brand new 2011 Prius and ordered the black WeatherTech mats for the front. They arrived 3 days after I ordered them and fit perfectly. I paid $104 via the PriusChat Shop. I am very, very happy with these mats. Hope that helps someone.

You can see some Weathertech's in my album. They area perfect fit as well as the cargo mat. Not sure about the Husky's, but I'd highly recommend the WTs

I would stay away from the Husky mats because they do not use the proper hook retention system.

    MB860 ?

The retention hooks are not needed the Huskies fit precisely in the floor pan. Why would you want holes in your mats anyway? The retention hook holes are just two places that your mats can leak through on to your carpet.

This is what happens when you have holes.

'Dem Huskies been good to me... had 'em for ten years or so... ol' Mitsubishi RVR, Honda CR-V, and now a Gen III Prius.

No slip, no slide, no slud... none of 'em had no stinkin' "hook retention system." 'Sounds like something to do with compulsory healthcare.

    P.S. Love my Huskies :D

P.P.S. De-politicised for the "good of all." ;)

I had just realized that this thread is for cargo liners not floor mats, and that I had commented previously with my two cents on cargo liners. Please disregard my comments about retention hooks.

Little late coming into this, but I also have a 2011 and contemplated the WeatherTech liners... I saw someone leave a review on Amazon that the anchor holes were in the wrong spot though... did you have this problem?

The Weather Tech liners have the proper holes. The Plug-in models are slightly different with regards to the gas tank release handle but even then the lock holes are in the right spot.
