    Hi all!

Since becoming a Prius enthusiast, and ordering my Prius (which I was told arrived at port 2 days ago!!!), I have helped several people connect with dealers who either have unallocated cars and/or can order them and have them arrive within 4-8 weeks. I am mainly inspired by getting more hybrids on the road, and driving up demand (and need for more production) of them.

Although I know there are some markets that seem dry in getting these in, I have not experienced this, and feel overall that there is no need to panic about getting one, even for the tax credit given the date of this posting.

For those who are interested in a Prius from what you have read, but have never driven one, please do so. I probably took 47 test drives in them, not because of ambivalence, but because of its "addictive" qualities ;-)

I can get any package Prius (I think) in the Chicagoland area from dealers who will not go above MSRP (actually, as of 2/23, even up to $500 below MSRP on certain packages!) and I have been able to establish enough clout that if something is ordered to specific detail, I feel confident that any non-requested "add-on's" will not be charged to my referrals (lest the salespersons I work with risk losing my referrals).

Given that, feel free to contact me at the below e-mail only when you are seriously ready to buy a Prius, or are seriously interested in an unallocated Prius having arrived. I have found myself linking ambivalent buyers to my sales leads, and this can create some problems. If you are ambivalent, that is fine, and I suggest taking as much time as you need to decide to buy or not buy a Prius. But if you are ready, and want any help from me, then feel free to e-mail me.

Hope to see more of you on the streets of Chicago.

P.S. I went to the Chicago Auto Show today, and to my excitement was the Seaside Pearl Prius on display I am ordering (not exactly...it was a #8, and I am getting a #4 w/aftermarket leather and VIP security add-on)!

    Hi PsyPrius -

I got bad news today from my dealer. I have been on a waiting list for a 2006 Prius for the last 9 weeks and just found out that my Prius will not be here until sometime in June. I can not wait until June though because I am moving across the country and need the car before I move. Would you still happen to know of any dealers that have Prii on the lot? I would be willing to go pretty much anywhere in Illinois, Indiana, Wisconsin, or Michigan.

Thanks in advance for your help.

Try Jim Anderson at Riverside Town & Country in Escanaba, Michigan. I bought mine from them last month below MSRP. Tell him Kim from Ohio sent you.
