Need help installing my body kit

I just got my painted JDM ver A body kit today. It looks like it will be an excellent fit/finish, but apparently you have to disassemble the front and rear end of the car to put it all together. It's probably pretty simple, but the instructions came in Japanese, and I'm not too sure that I want to just start winging it (I'll probably end up deploying and air bag or something) Has anyone done this install, and if so do you have any advice? No need, but thanks for the advice. It was very easy to install, and I finished it in less than three hours without reading a thing. I'm very happy I went with this kit because it comes with factory mounting hardware and fits like stock bodywork (which I guess it is). Now for the TRD suspension...

My camera's back in Vegas, so when I go home this weekend I'll snap a few shots and post them. Interestingly, the rocker panels act as insulation and road-noise is reduced a few dB. The kit is VERY light and added less than 14 pounds to the vehicle. (You remove the crappy stock rear spoiler and black rocker protectors). The only added weight is 4 lb for the front spoiler and 5 lb for each side skirt. I got over 60 mpg on my 10 mile highway trip to work this morning, but I had a slight tailwind instead of a 30 + knot crosswind like usual.

There is no interference with the stock mud-guards, the side-skirts are molded to conform with them. Enjoy the pics.

I think a shark-fin would look real nice, but I work way out in the middle of BFE and I need all the antenna I can get. The only good FM station I can tune is already weak, so I think a shark fin would leave me with some polka and mexican party music, although I guess I should learn Spanish sooner or later anyway. Maybe I'll pull a 10 ft whip off a military Humvee instead.

I imagine you're actually scraping the black protector that hangs below the radiator. Scraping the actual bumper would really screw up the front of you car and probably break the black plastic mesh that houses the fog lamps.

Although I haven't had a long enough trip to assess the new handling characterics at high speed, I'm fairly confident that it'll provide some added stability at highway speeds, where the car suffers from incredible handling woes. It may actually do more for high speed handling than the Sportivo suspension itself (I'll know in about a week or two). I've also noted a decrease in road noise at high speed, although the car was nearly silent to begin with (once I removed the scion rims).

I thought about getting an IPod about a month ago when my entire CD collection (of 15 years) was stolen. I want it to integrate fully (the ability to select music from the MFD), but I don't have enough experience yet with CAN interfaces to have faith in the end product. Is there a product out there that displays track information and allows you to select music lists directly from the MFD?? Also, I wouldn't mind getting Sirius, but I want it done the same way with no botched-up, jerry-rigged pieces inside my car. Any guidance and personal experience would be appreciated.
