My C-class has lovely, comfortable seats. I'd highly recommend one.

But if seats are really your priority, then it's a shame Saab is out of business. My two Saabs had the most comfortable seats I've ever had in a car, I think.

Close, but no cigar*. Currently driving 4k miles / yr. Historically never get over 8 or 9k a year, about half the CA hybrid battery warranty. Conventional it is.

    * quiz, where did this phrase come from?

Don't want to google, that'd spoil the fun.

No. Something from the 19th century. :p

    ----------
Around T'giving last November, went to SF auto show mainly to see gen4 Prius. It was a Two with light tan interior, gave it a fair shake for several minutes, but was just sneering and knowing 'if I buy one of these, I will be complaining for years on Priuschat'. Then, went over to Honda area,in '16 Civic Touring, turned into kid in a candy store, all excited, gosh, this is my next car.
'Course when Prius landed, makes sense to actually drive it, and try out the Softex seats.
Other nights Civic Touring test went well, more Q's to answer in May. K, saying 'close, but no cigar ' they think it came from early 20th century fairs where they gave out cigars as prizes.

Maybe Volvo then. I test drove a 2004 S40 once, and my first thought upon getting into the car was, "these are the most comfortable seats I have ever sat in."

I currently own a 2016 XC90 First Edition and hands down it has not just the most comfortable seats I've had in any of my previous vehicles but the overall seating position is superb.

Ah, yes. I test-drove a couple of XC60s last year, and they were unbelievably comfortable.

I also really like their convertible booster seats in the back.

Is that the new model? It has the nicest interior I've ever seen in a car, especially in cream leather and bamboo.

It's important to get what you like! While I can't imagine having to replace this Gen 2, I admit that my favorite new car is the Mazda3 5-door. The Gen IV (hmm, how very Jurassic Park) Prius doesn't do anything for me either. Looking at pictures of it kind of stresses me out.

You got me! Nah, I snuck in here from the 'recent posts' bar on the left and didn't need to see any pictures. :)

Mud, indeed! We had some ice damming issues on the access road a month or two ago. The soil couldn't drain and it got saturated. The Pri just BARELY pulled itself through by the skin of its traction control (it came to a stop and I thought it was done, but the wheels still churned here and there until it grabbed hold of the edge of the gravel pad--I was mighty impressed!) The road's better crowned and side-ditched now so hopefully it won't get that bad again. Melting off yesterday's blizzard should be a good test.
