XM Radio Kit - Traffic Info?

As far as I know the short answer is no. I will listen to the traffic report for my area on XM but it usually isn't very accurate. Gotta love it when they report my route is "green" and moving along and I'm sitting there doing 2 mph

I bought a Garmin Streetpilot 2730 with XM radio and integrated traffic display. I've been pleasantly surprised by the results. On my regular commute there are slow spots that are never reported on the radio (XM or terrestrial), but the Garmin flags them. It's not perfect and no system can account for the delay in reporting, but so far I'm pleased.

But at least you're usually getting 99.9+mpg while you're cruising along at 2mph; for me, with the Prius now, traffic only stinks if you're in a hurry to get somewhere. Otherwise it's a fine time for me to 'up' my mpgs.

You do make a very good point I find trying to up my mpg one way of passing the time going no where quickly. XM does go a long ways in helping too.

I will get my Prius in a few weeks. I also have a Garmin 2730. Where do you put the Garmin. Do you use the "sandbag" stand that comes with the Garmin? In the test drive I wondered where the Garmin 2730 would fit?
