    Very sad.
    When I was in high school two artists really emerged at nearly the same time and were very popular.
    Michael Jackson and Prince.

    I always liked Prince better. As I found his music to be more creative and edgier. Despite his enormous popularity, his music seemed to be less packaged "pop" and more real creativity.

    He pushed the envelope not only with his music but also his image. But I respected and enjoyed his talent.

    He will be missed.

    After seeing a few stories about emergency landing and hospitalization a few days back, I wasn't so surprised.

    Though much of his music and image was too edgy for my tastes, some fit just fine. He will be missed.

    I like some of Prince's music, and it's hard not to respect his peerless musical talent.
    Prince definitely made a positive contribution to humanity!!!

    Unfortunately....we're all only here for a very short time.
