    Spoke to the dealer. She said there is a good chance i might get it next week(i am now number 4). Lets see if that pans out!

    Spoke to her again today. My number in the 'wait list' has now mysteriously increased to 9. The doubts are creeping in slowly :). Will get to know if there is a match on friday. The dealer says that they get 6-8 cars per allocation and get two allocations per month. Feel almost like i am back in india with the 'allocation' and 'quota' business. The pre-ordering method is prevalent in india and booking a car is needed before the car arrives. But somehow cannot take that process here, since i see so many cars on the lot to just drive away. :(
