    Hello,

I have a 2004 Prius, Generation II, with about 215,000 miles. We had purchased it at 160k miles as a car to hold us over while we saved up for a newer car. We now have money saved, and this is NOT FUNCTIONING at the moment, so it's time for it to go.

I believe that the issue it's currently having can be fixed fairly quickly and inexpensively by the right person. I've done all that I feel comfortable doing myself, but I've never been a huge car guy, so that may not be much.

Over the last 55K miles (the time I've owned it), we have replaced the following:
    Spark Plugs
    MAF Sensor
    Throttle Body (used)
    Rear Brake Shoes
    CHS Tank
    Water Pump
    Idler Pulley
    Drive Belt
    Coolant
    Oil & Filter (regularly)
    Air Filters.

HV Battery and 12V Battery both still seem to be strong. I have seen no indication of either going bad.
Body is in fair shape. There's a small dent on the passenger side, but otherwise no major dents or scratches.
I've allowed no animals and no smoking, so it smells fine.

Here's a link to the problem I'm currently having.

I really believe that this thing can be fixed up by a knowledgeable person, and can run for quite some time more. I'm not a car guy - I've tried about as much as I feel comfortable doing myself, and the dealership is asking more than I am willing to pay to diagnose and fix it. But if you can get it running, it has quite a bit of life to it yet.

Seeking $2000, am willing to negotiate. Also posting locally.

I only have one picture of it in the daylight (it's stuck in the garage right now), and it's from when we moved from the Pacific NW, so please pardon the stuff. I can take more pictures, but they may be a little dark.

PM me for more pictures, details, or offers.
