:D Yeah! Finally got my Barcelona Red #8 car today with the Bisque interior.
Wow, what a ride! I love it and can hardly wait to add the FactoryInteractive XM add on (ordered today).
I have driven 51 miles home from the dealership and got 43 avg. MPG so far. I really thought it handled great at 73 mph on cruise........don't understand problems/complaints with handling.
Toyota has done a LOT with this ride. Nice job Toyota! You have won me back from 4 American made vehicles. I'm calling it my little Lexus. :D

Congrats! You've got my car! Check out the BT Stiffening Plate -- I could feel the difference immediately!
I love my car too and still hand wash and polish it frequently. The RED is such a nice color and driving is now fun again! Enjoy.

Congratulations on your new, beautiful, Barcelona Red Prius! We have the same, only package #6 (figured that #6 had more bells and whistles than any other car we had ever owned, and we could get a #6 fairly quickly - a #8 we would have had to order).

I, too, think the handling is very good. But I received the BT stiffening plate just yesterday, and hope to get it installed this weekend. From what I have read on PC, the consensus seems to be that the handling is improved, sometimes dramatically and sometimes subtly, but almost always improved.

I agree with Dripps - driving is now fun again! :)

If you'd waited a little longer, you would have had your choice of Barcelona #8s. See my post under Dealers & Pricing http://priuschat.com/index.php?showtopic=19802.

I'm at 300 miles on my Prius now, with 48.0 showing on the MFD. Loving every minute of it.

That's okay - we didn't really want a #8 - don't care for leather or navigation. We're very happy with #6 ... more toys than I had originally expected when we first looked at the Prius.

Very cool car, and if anything, I feel better about it now than the day we picked it up ... and I was positively giddy that day!! :D

I agree. Leather? Who needs it? Navigation? A fun toy, I'm sure, but I've always had a good sense of direction anyway.

I originally was looking for a #3. I'm glad I went for the #6. Couldn't ask for more things in a car.

*sigh* two red #7s. Maybe I'll call my dealer and see if he has my VIN number yet. If not maybe I'll drive to VA tomorrow.

You will love the car. I have owned my red Prius for 2 weeks now, driving is really fun, and learning how to get the milage is fun. My first tank was at 540 mi, 9.3 gal. and so far I am at 61 after 150 miles. Have fun :D

Congratulations! I have a #8 w/bisque interior but the outside is Black instead of Barcelona, so our cars look the same on the inside. I hope you'll fall as in love with your car as I have with mine. The more I drive it, the more I want to keep driving it, if that makes any sense. :)
