    That'd be ludicrous !
    (EDIT: OHOH - TItle was supposed to be a "model 3" looks like the forum no longer permits editing titles, not even prior to firstposts :( )

    Tesla's Model 3 will be sold with a Ludicrous Mode option

    Anyone care to guess what it's 0 to 60 MPH time will will be?

    What does that mean - high 5's ... Do you mean 35's ?
    EDIT;
    Oh wait I get it 5 Seconds 0 to 60
    The conversation taking off that fast would most likely be, " please pull into the nearest gas station so I can wipe"

    That's why you get the base model plus AWD.

    My guess is mid 3s.
    The car will be lighter, but it will also have a smaller battery pack.

    smaller battery pack onlyl IF they only have one traction pack size ... so far, that'd be a new thing.

    EDIT;
    Yay ! ! ! Title fixed (I hope)
    Last count btw, I read the pre-order deposits number about 400,000 now
    :eek:
    400,000 people have pre-ordered a Tesla Model 3 - and now the wait begins

    MB C63 AMG: 3.9 sec
    BMW M4: 3.7 sec

    therefore I propose a time of 3.5-3.8 sec for the Model 3 w/ Ludicrous Mode and it'll probably be around US$60,000.
