What is this black sticker on front windshield for?

    Does anyone else have this?

    I was going to ask the dealer but forgot because a lot of other things were going on.

    A quick google yielded a ton of hits, but the only one that made sense to me was that it was the bottom layer of a sticker on a sticker.

    The poster did not offer any ideas of what the sticker was used for, but in my imagination I could see the person driving the car onto a boat peeling the face of label off and pasting It onto a document that would be scanned in, for tracking of the individual car and creating shipping documents.

    Was posted on here before. That's how I figured what mine was two weeks ago.

    Inventory or some internal barcode system. Dealer was supposed to remove that but that didn't. Mines stuck to the garage wall now

    I think you're right. Next time I'm at the dealership I will ask them to remove it.

    I saw it as a blessing in disguise. The less they wash and fidget with the car the happier I am to be honest. Was nice finally getting a brand new car with now dealer installed swirl marks on paint work, then again silver hides defects well. Gen 4 was only at dealership for one day until it was picked up by us. Unlike my truck that was on the lot for almost 6 months before I bought it.

    Thanks for the replies. I was looking at it closely last night and just decided to try to peel a corner up.

    I kept pulling and it came right off. No goo or glue left behind.

    Now I'm also noticing that they dealership or Southeast Toyota put other stickers on my windows (Toyota service reminder, Xm radio, and some security things). I'm going to remove all that crap when I clean the car this weekend.

    They stuck that stupid Sirius xm sticker crooked bang central in the rear door quarter glass. That wasnt easy to remove, the service reminder got removed when top part of the windshield got tinted. Found the visors useless on the Prius else I'd never have an abomination of a window strip tint , not unless it's got my name on passenger side and wife's on driver side something similar to this... uploadfromtaptalk1462890961515.jpg
