I object to the portrayal of the Flying Spaghetti Monster with meatballs. I don't think the FSM has meatballs. Meatballs imply a tacit approval of the inhumane custom of eating ground up animals in your spaghetti. We vegetarians should form a splinter sect of Pastafarianism, called Pastaprimavarianism, in which the FSM has only vegetables, no meatballs. There is only one Flying Spaghetti Monster, and he has no meatballs!

Some might object that an atheist shouldn't start a religion. I reply that all religious leaders are atheists, because they pretend to speak for god, and they know god ain't speaking to them!

I wonder how hard it is to get a permit to be a church?

I am 100% sure that you are going to stir up the "anti"-pastaprimavarianists here at Prius Chat. Seems like there quite a few that have poked thier heads up in other threads.

And not to mention the "ante"-pastaprimavarianists who would split off from you and claim that "Dado di Pino" (rough translation from the future) was here first and created it all.

    A friend of mine wears a t-shirt that says that. She's a Unitarian Universalist and a dog-lover.

...you know, some people seem to have the foundations for being an extremely effective, prolific, serial killer.

...I'm sure the public will ultimately get to read the manifesto a few years after the verdict is handed down...

Are you refering to me or to Wildkow? I can't speak for the Kow, but I'd be a lousy serial killer. I can't stand violence. I'd end up letting all my prospective victims go, unharmed. But then, I'm such a klutz I'd be unable to get any prospective victims in the first place. And if I tried to shoot anybody I'd miss. If I had a gun in my hand, the safest place would be right in front of me.

hehe - hop over to venganza.org forums sometime - they've already got Protestant Pastafarians (vegepastafarians, but I think they're punny enough to like your title better) and might even be willing to crown you something for the naming =)
