Jimbo, What is the downfall in using the EV button? Driving without use of the EV button and driving with traffic speed in city and freeway (no attemt to hyper mile mpg's) the last tank mileage was 42 on dash.

Without using EV the computers decide what power plants to use at any moment. EV mode denies them all their choices, in the short term the computer has better judgement than you. An exception is when you know you will not go far/fast enough to ever complete warmup, as in moving out in the driveway to check the tires.

My current tank is showing up on the computer as 47.8 mpg. Even with interstate driving and more rural routes, it's just loving this weather. On flatter terrain, I believe I'd be living in the low to mid 50 mpg areas.

Have to fill up today to see the actual result.

47.5 was the actual mpg. Interesting the last two tanks were same as the computer, more or less. I actually filled up Monday, the new tank is at 45.5 now.
