Production Locations

    I want to know where the assembly plants for this car are. If there are more than a few, just give me the ones nearest Taiwan. Thanks

    There is a plant producing the Prius in China. For now the production output is very low. The output of the plant is strictly for China only for now. It sounds like you want to buy a Prius in Taiwan and wonder where it would be produced. Is that correct? I bet my money on Tsutsumi plant, Japan. :)

    i was told by my dealer that there is a plant being built in phoenix. he says it's supposed to be ready in time to build the '08... i have no verification of this, but if it's true it will mean a lot less waiting in the future.

    I seriously doubt it. I haven't heard anything of the sort in the auto industry news.

    There's no mention of anything in Arizona at http://www.toyota.com/about/news/manufactu...-milestone.html or http://www.detnews.com/apps/pbcs.dll/artic.../605170324/1148.
