Unfortunately I'm throwing in the towel on my project to convert my Lexus ES300h to a plug in. It was very close to successful- I had the converter charging the hybrid battery at one point but the lithium batteries I was using just weren't in good shape. I donated those to someone else working on a project and just couldn't bring myself to spend the money to buy a new battery bank, so alas, I must sell the last piece of the project.

This the 3000w converter. No modifications or anything done to it except to remove the charge connector and to adjust the trim pots to make the voltage match the higher voltage in the ES300h. So, if you buy this you'll need to drop the voltage back down- I unfortunately no longer have a 48v power source with which to do the adjustment. You'll also need to move your existing charge connector over to this converter- I sold the charger and connector to an e-bike enthusiast.

    Converter works very well, though.

Asking $150 plus actual shipping, or free pickup in NJ. Thanks!

I've updated the OP with images of the converter. No hurry to sell this, but at the same time I would like to see it go to someone who would use it so please do inquire if you're even slightly interested. Thanks!
