Anyone purposely park next to another PRIUS in a parking lot ? It's happened to me & I've done it too.

Not yet. Too bad we can't breed our Priuses and get some Prius puppies.

Every time I can! We now have so many at the hospital we have had 5 in a row together one morning. We regularly put 3 together at the office. The Prius is the 'new' SUV at work. They may be breeding while we are not watching, I am seeing more and more around here. I now regularly encounter 3-4 going to work and back every day!

They used to be rare here in SE PA, but now I'm seeing a lot more. Today I actually saw 10 on the road & in a choir that I sing in, I was the 3rd person to get one.

Ah, so that is where they come from - just like babies.

It is pretty common. One day I came out from Trader Joe's and there was 2 identical Salsas out there. Thankfully the woman was still in hers so I knew which car to go to. This morning I was the first one there and when I came out there was a silver in front of me and a Black one car over to the side.
I definitely think they talk to each other and compare notes.

Not on purpose, but today I parked at a store and noticed a Prius one space away from mine, and another across the aisle! Out of 5 vehicles in the immediate vicinity, 3 were Priora (Prii? Priuses? Prius?). We're starting to outnumber them!

I just parked my seaside next to tideland this morning in a Dunkin Doughnuts parking lot. The car was still there when I got back so the owner might have been an employee or in a neighboring store.

OK this is a real long shot but might your choir be the Bach Choir of Bethlehem? I recently went to a concert of the choir in Allentown and there were five Priuses in the lot including three back where the choir and orchestra members parked. Mine made six in the lot that I saw.

Yesterday I was at the mall and parked next to a a Hummer H2, a big ugly beast. But I stopped at a strip mall on the way home and purposely parked next to a beautiful blue Prius. I haven't seen a lot of these cars here in Central NJ, but there's another one who parks near me at work.

I have noticed Prius divers around here seem to be a mixture of young, older & Hott and some not  :)

I try to park next to the hotties, J/k

Yeah I find my self parking next to them too.... However I do see the NEW oners parking out on the back 40 alot.. and no they donot have the door mouldings..

I wonder if its has some type of family issues 'Parking next to one another in parking lots' <_< ? I mean is it so the car doesnt get lonely  ? Or do we just like to show off our rides B) ? Or is it just because we ARE the IN crowd *SMUG* :p ;) !

    Absolutely.

    Prii travel in flocks.

I also have more confidence that the owner will not slam his door into my car ;)

My choir is in Philadelphia and at our last concert there were also 5 Prii in the lot including mine

This ia also another reason why I park next to another Prius. I will also park in the outback if necessary. Don't want any dings;no door mouldings yet.

If I ever get a chance, I'll park next to another Prius. We don't see many of them around here; then again, we don't see many of any type of car. There are 600 people in our village, and it's the largest village in the county. There are about as many boats as autos.

I have had the opportunity a couple of times to park next to another Prius. One of my colleagues at school also drives a tideland. We have parked next to each other a few times.

I have yet to park next to a prius on purpose, but I LOVE driving behind one. We accelerate and brake at the same rate. hehehehhe. I don't feel the peer pressure to hit the gas so hard when the light turns green ;)

I'm a nurse case manager and one of the hospitals I go to regularly here in Portland has an unofficial Prius parking area. We all park in the same part of the parking lot area--up to 5 at a time. I like to park next to the psych nurse practitioner, who had almost the same 2000 Volvo as me before we both (independently and without prior knowledge) bought 2005 Salsas.
