I just purchased a Nokia 6165i for hands-free use with my Prius '06. I didn't have any problems pairing them up, but I'm not sure how to transfer the phone book data from the phone to the car. I get a message from the Prius asking me to transfer data from the phone, but I have no idea how to do that. The phone's manual doesn't offer any instructions for this kind of thing at all. Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks.

I'm not sure yet on this phone since it has not hit Sprint channels and so far is being sold at 3rd party stores, but you can't. The phone does not support the correct BT profile to allow this.

Well... that's not the answer I was hoping for, but thanks for responding! Please let me know if you find out anything new about that phone as it becomes more widely available. Thanks again.

well on my phone, a SE t616 you would go to phonebook (contacts), advanced, send all ... that's what I do, and it chugs away, hope that helps!

FYI: likewise, there is a delete all for when you want to update your phone. I infrared from my palm TX to the t616 3 or 4 times a year versus using my phone itself as a database, and the TX is synced with my desktop.

delete all really came in handy because there was no error message that told me that the phone was full I found out the hard way that the number of records, at least for my phone is not an exact science something to do with the # of entries, i forget ...

oh yeah, welcome to the board Danny!

Thanks for the warm welcome berylrb! Unfortunately my phone doesn't have any options like what you described, but thanks for trying.

Let me know how the phone works besides that. I'm thinking of getting that one.
