    For me it was alcohol. 1st semester freshman year in college back in '92, and Sept. '95, only two times I've ever been drunk, both times were pretty bad, the latter of which I ended up passing out because I was heaving so hard, my head slammed into the toilet tank, only to be immediately awoken by my head splashing into my own sick within the bowl.

    I didn't drink for a year after I had to throw up into an outhouse hole. Pretty high on my 'truly awful experiences that were totally preventable' list.

    1. Waking up under my truck in the rain, wondering how I got there and where were my pants??
    2. What did it for me was going out with friends to 7 different bars and spending my rent money.!

    I just don't even like to think about my bachelor party....just not pretty. And that's even after some horrendous experiences in college. Still can't drink a Cape Cod....ugh!

    My wife refuses to allow me to drink anything blue any more. I have no recollection at all of why but she reminds me she has that on me, which is the reason I dare not again.

    I do things that I don't remember and it takes a very pitiful amount of it for me to suffer the effects...

    And the worst part is I don't remember anything. Apparently one time I took out the duct tape at a news years party and duct taped up my also drunk then boyfriend-- even taping his mouth shut. I have pictures of it, and its the only reason I remember it.

    Worst experience- alcohol. One, while camping out overnight in line to buy tickets for The Who (back in the days before online ticket sales), I drank a fifth of Southern Comfort (as well as some other substances). Now when I see one of those SoCo advertisements, I want to puke my guts out.
