    Hello Friends and Experts

I have 2006 prius with 96k miles on it and regularly serviced. Today morning while driving to work, there were multiple lights that came up on my dashboard. The emergency (triangle) indicator, VSC, Engine check came up. I checked the battery and it was green. Can you please let me know what it means. I have given the car for service to the showroom

    Thanks

    welcome to priuschat!
guessing, without the trouble codes. could be your hybrid battery, or maybe just the 12 volt.
ask them for the codes, and post them here for help.

    Hello Bisco

Thanks for the help. The code that was mentioned to me is P3000

I read online and I was told that prius battery has 15year 150K miles warranty and they are asking for 3700 dollars for changing the battery.

Can you please let me know what should I do?

    Thanks

correct. call them and ask them about the warranty. even if you're a short time over the 10 years, they can call toyota and ask for a waiver.

I spoke to the service advisor at toyota and he says the warranty expired just a month back. I asked for some discount and he is not willing to give any. And he says that the warranty is 10yrs and 100K miles.

he's wrong, it's in your warranty book. call the real toyota, (not the independent shady dealer) and ask them nicely for coverage.
