A mystery to me why in the US they don't deliver the Prius with the shorter and smaller headrests we get in EU....

If you have an "Auto" setting for lights, I'd just keep it there and forget about it. In that way the DRL are on always (as they should) and when it gets dark, the car will turn on proper headlights (and rear lights) instead of the driver forgetting he/she needs to, because the DRL are, or so one might think, strong enough. They are not (DRLs) and no back lights are on when they are.

Get used to get at least 450-500mi (and with the Gen4 likely more 500-550mi) before the fuel warning beeps for you to fuel up, and even then, consider you have at least another 2 gal to go before you dry up.
You can use the Excel tool I posted here to help you see what fuel range you have.

Spot on. 550 miles on a tank full, range says 45 miles but no warning. Filled up 9.4 gallons until it clicked and I stopped.

    LG-H901 ?

U.S. regulations. They were changed just before the launch of the 3rd Gen Prius so all cars since then have had larger headrests because there's a minimum requirement for headrest height and the foldable ones that used to come in our Prius no longer meets that criteria. So I suspect Toyota just said "screw it, just install a full size headrest".

On the downside, it means Toyota has started to use that regulation to save on costs and began installing fixed rear outboard headrests to Corolla and Camry.

Congratulations - no, I can't see the point of a car without a spare.

With "mileage to fill up" - very often the first fill is inaccurate if the dealer has "filled" it for delivery.. Dealers know how little to put in the tank to make the gauge read FULL, but could be a gallon or more less than full. I'd fill it (to first click?) and monitor from there.

4 month old 2016 Prius Four with all the options, gotta say that I love it. 15" tires, I didn't get the touring model, and I don't regret it because I love the Heads Up display which I think is not available on the touring.

60+ MPG for the last two months, just normal city+highway driving. Right now I have on the OEM Toyo Nanoenergy tires at 38 PSI front (cold) and 37 rear, which is nameplate + 2 PSI. In the winter, I was running Michelin X-Ice tires at nameplate (36F/35R) and got 5 MPG less, running more or less the same route every day. I think that CR is actually low in their numbers!

I go and pick up new Prius Eco Monday(sea glass), moonstone interior. It seems the harvest beige interior were all they had in stock. I wasn't going to buy, the first price was 21,980 not including dealer fee and tax. I handled things over the phone and email. I turned the 21,980 down and sent them an email telling them I would wait till Oct or Nov for another 1k off. My phone rang 5 min later and said the manager was going to let me have it for 20,980, not including dealer fee and tax. Salesman said they would have it delivered from another dealer later today. The salesman also said it had paint protection, 4 yr maintenance, mats and some other stuff. I'm still waiting on the numbers breakdown but have my bottom number, monthly payment set, and percent of interest 2.9% with Southern Toyota finance. They also allowed me 5k$ for my 2011 Prius two, that has 163k on it. They have not even looked at my trade in, which is really a good looking car still. I have not even looked at the car they have either. So if things go as planned my wife has a new ride. This is my story as of today, don't even know what kinds of tars it has on it. Do I think the price will come down even more, yes I do but this price want be far off the bottom.

Good job and I like that color BTW.

That model gets really good MPG. Try 42PSI for a bit and see if your wife squawks. Then go to 40PSI and see what happens. ETC. Wife is always the limiting factor on these items.

I actually got a better ride at 44 on one car.

Remember that 42 is the answer to everything in the universe.

    Beige two tone?????

That sounds like a very good deal. And I really like the sea glass pearl color. That color is about the only one in my parts that you can get in the various trims and options. And you will love the moonstone interior. It opens up the space so much. Whether it is cooler or not, I do not know.

Not to be negative, but I'd be very skeptical about the "paint protection." A wax job? It's overpriced and unnecessary. And what is the "4 year maint" they talk about? You don't need that either. The dealer just made up the $1000 they knocked off...

Get a rock bottom, out the door price (in writing) that includes ALL fees and tax. Then start haggling.

Coast Crusier, I didn't pay for the protection or maintenance, it just happen to be on the car they getting. I will pay Monday, have one in writing, the other in writing soon to arrive before I pick car up. I agree about the protection, mostly a wax job but if it ant costing me anything then let them include all they want. My price 20,980 not including taxes. I change my own oil, could care less about their maintenance plan. I've not paid anything yet not signed any papers.

Not trying to be argumentative. But Toyota just recently was offering 0% financing, and/or a $2,000 incentive.
There were threads posted about this. Not sure if it expired, you can check at Toyota.com.

yep, but to get the incentive you add it to the price of the car and then you get 0% financing. This is the way i've found it in 2015 and this time also. It would be nice to get 0% but I'll pay the car off after a year or so. It don't make that much difference to me what the interest rate is.

You're gonna get the $2000 off factory incentive whether you want it or not. :) I just checked Toyota.com. They keep extending the factory offer. Expires on 9/6/16. (Didn't see anything about 0% financing.) I'm like you, I always pay it off early.

    Enjoy!

I only got $1,000 factory incentive off when I bought back in February. :( It PAYS to be patient.

A different sales lady at another dealer told me to wait until August.... now I know why. She was honest. I should've gave her my business.
